Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is a famous American actor. Particularly, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she left high school and moved in Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. In 2001, despite her finances it was possible get her first significant role in the online video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's main character. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first appearances were in films of her father in his adolescent years. With her brother, she appeared in Donnie Darko (2000). Then she appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for both her performances as the main character of Secretary (2002), the erotic drama about romance as well as Sherrybaby (2006).
